What will an Eye Test Cost?

Eye tests are covered by Medicare and we offer bulk billing. Your eye exam will typically take 30 minutes. Besides checking your vision, the optometrist will also check the health of your eyes, to ensure that you do not have a sight threatening condition.

Contact Lens Fitting may incur additional fees.

We also offer Digital Retinal Photography

If you are not covered by Medicare a private consultation fee will be charged.

Health Fund Rebates

Provided you have optical cover you will be able to claim a rebate from any Australian health fund.
You can claim at the time of your consultation through HICAPS, or directly online with your fund. The
amount of rebate you receive will depend on your level of cover with your health fund.

Come in and our staff will be able to check your available rebate via our hicaps machine.

Veterans Affairs

Spectacles and Contact Lenses are provided free for patients covered by Veterans Affairs. We will
advise you about your entitlements at the time of your consultation.
